About the event

30th Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show, The Revival!   Half Moon Bay California's Festival of Magnificent Machines,   "The Coolest Show on Earth"

April 30th Annual Dream Machines 2023

What is it?

Dream Machines is an annual event in Half Moon Bay, CA at the airport. It is a display of all things motorized and interesting. You will see Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Airplanes, Helicopters, Tractors, Military vehicles, Monster truck rides, and all kinds of other cool motorized gadgets. There will be food, live music, an air show, airplane rides, motorcycle

stunts, vendors, and lots to do for the entire family. This event is a fund raiser for the Coast Side Day Program which helps the elderly in San Mateo County by providing support to those elderly in need.

When is it?

The event is from 10-4pm on Sunday, April 30th

Where is it?

At the Half Moon Bay Airport on Highway 1 on the coast.

What is ACBS’s involvement in the show?

While not an “official” ACBS event, the board has unanimously decided to participate in this year’s Dream Machines as a featured group. Mark Manes, our current first VP will be the event coordinator. This event will allow our group to show our boats on our trailers at the show. We will have the ACBS booth in front and will be actively trying to recruit new members to join ACBS. We anticipate a large number of our boats on display and an optional “roar off” at 10, 2, and 4pm (BYOW – Bring Your Own Water). Mark has organized a dinner Saturday night, April 29th, 5:30pm at Cameron’s English Pub,  (650) 726-5705 at 1410 South Cabrillo Hwy, Half Moon Bay. Cameron’s has quite an interesting history and we think everyone will enjoy their time at this unique building. Please keep in mind that the restaurant is on the South side of town about 6 miles from the airport, please plan accordingly with HWY 1 weekend traffic.

Can I bring my boat and set it up the day before?

Absolutely! Mark has made arrangements for us to bring in the boats between 12:00-4:00 PM on Saturday April 29th. They will be in a locked airport facility with regular security on site. For those that prefer to come on the day of the show,

your boat needs to be in place between 06:30-09:30 AM (gate opens at 0630) on Sunday morning. The lines can be long for getting in, so plan accordingly.

What if I just want to go without a boat?

No problem, we would love to have you join us and help promote ACBS. You are welcome to spend the night and join us for dinner or you can just show up on the day of the show.  Help is always appreciated in setting everything up on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning during the move-in.

When do I need to sign up by?

ASAP! The sooner the better for us because the event organizer needs to plan the space out for all the boats. We will need your approximate length and width and bio/pictures ASAP for planning purposes. They will be using our boat photos and descriptions in their flyers, programs, and marketing campaigns.

How do I sign up?

Please use this link Dream Machines Link to register your boat on the site. This will get you tickets for two for the show and registration. When it asks for what type of vehicle, please put in ACBS-BOAT in the description, thanks.

Please also sign up on the ACBS NorCal Website for the event, as we need some additional information, pictures, and a brief (2 sentences)  BIO of your boat. Please email Mark Manes (sfbpmike@gmail.com) 2 pictures

of your boat along with your boat’s name.

How do I sign up for the 5:30pm dinner on Saturday night at Cameron’s English Pub?

Sign up for dinner on the ACBS website, you will be responsible for your own tab, and they will be seating us together as a group. Please sign up before on the website so that we can give them an accurate count!
