Bass Lake Rendezvous

What an amazing way to begin your 2022 boating season with so many ACBS friends & family @ the 30th Annual Bass Lake Rendezvous on Beautiful Bass Lake. Come join in on the Fun & have a Toast with us in Celebrating our 30th Anniversary. Hopefully Central California will receive an abundance of Snow & Rain in the coming months so that Bass Lake will be full again and all the amazing waterfalls in Yosemite National Park will be a stunning sight to see. Try to add an extra day to your plans to view all the Beauty & Magic that Yosemite has to offer.

On behalf of the ACBS No. CA/Lake Tahoe & So. CA Chapters, we want to invite our members and their guests to our first in the water boating event of 2022 for a very fun and relaxing weekend at Bass Lake.  Sign up early @ www.acbs-tahoe.org and make your reservations at our host hotel, The Pines Resort, or any other lodging suggestions listed below ASAP so you don't miss out on a truly memorable weekend. 

At our last ACBS Bass Lake Rendezvous in 2019 we had 46 boats in the show and over 100 ACBS members & their guests from all over No. & So. California attending. What a joy it will be to visit with so many ACBS friends we haven't seen in a while and viewing some of the nicest Antique & Classic boats on the West Coast like Chris-Craft, Century, Gar Wood, Hacker Craft and some very nice Classic Glass boats just to name a few at this beautiful little Alpine lake in the heart of Central CA. The weather at this event has historically been excellent (mid-60's to mid-80's), but we have experienced some rain and even snow on a couple occasions.

After you have arrived at Bass lake and checked into your lodging, you can launch your boat @ either Bass Lake Water Sports Marina (Check Fee's before launching...$20in/ $20 out) or at the Bass Lake Dam (Free) across the lake past Millers Landing where we will be having our Antique & Classic Boat show. You can leave your trailer @ the Dam boat ramp for $5 per night or free trailer parking at The Pines Resort just above the Bass Lake Village parking lot. Unfortunately we will only have 35 boat slips available this year for our Antique & Classic Boat Show, so please sign-up early. There are no boat slips available at the Bass Lake Water Sports Marina next to The Pines Resort until maybe June??? So make sure you dock your boat at either Millers Landing Resort or The Forks Resort. Saturday boat show and overnight slip fee's are included in your boat reg. at sign-up... All over night boat slip fee's except Sat. night@ Millers Landing are the boat owners responsibility. There is no pre-assigned boat slip's for the boat show, just find a slip that is not already in use. We try to keep the long dock closest to shore for the 20' plus boats & Triple Cockpits. Special Thanks to the Bass Lake Lions Club & Tom Wheeler (Co. Supervisor) for getting the $50.00 yearly boat permit waived again for our Antique & Classic boat show. Greatly Appreciated!

Your ACBS weekend activities begin @ 5:30 with a great BBQ at Millers Landing Friday night hosted by John Maddox & the So. CA ACBS Chapter.  Good Times!!! Because of Covid-19 issues, we have decided to just have everyone either bring their own dinner w/something to throw on the grill & their favorite adult beverage.  So. CA Chapter supplies the rest. Another great choice for dinner is to enjoy Millers Landing outdoor restaurant overlooking the boat dock & lake. What a great way to start your weekend off by attending this truly Fun BBQ. We will have plenty of boat slips available to use at Millers Landing for your Friday night adventure. It is also a very nice 25 minute drive around the lake from The Pines Resort if we are not able to go by boat. After the BBQ, we try to take a fantastic Sunset Cruise before we dock our Antique & Classic boats for the evening. We want to remind everyone to go counter clockwise around the lake & stay outside the orange buoys at speed. Also there is a 5 MPH speed limit on the lake between Sunset & 8:00 am. Hope you can join us for this very fun part of your weekend.

Saturday morning activities start @ 7:30 with a simple continental breakfast with coffee, juices, donuts and many other tasty breakfast treats dock side at Millers Landing. The boat show begins at 9:00 am Saturday till 3:00 pm sponsored by the Bass Lake Lions Club. Hope you can participate in the boat parade and fly-by at 10:45 Saturday morning for this very fun gathering on the lake and so the spectators can view these amazing Antique & Classic boats in action. During the boat show, we encourage you to fire up your engines and maybe take your friends out for a short cruise or ice cream run. Some great suggestions for lunch during the weekend are "Ducey's on the Lake", Millers Landing or The Forks Marina Grill. Be sure to get permission from the Bass Lake Water Sports Marina to dock your boat there while you enjoy an amazing lunch @ "Ducey's on the lake."

This is the 30th year that both the No. CA/Lake Tahoe and So. CA ACBS Chapters have gotten together at Bass Lake to enjoy a very Fun weekend while helping support the many wonderful things that the Bass Lake Lions Club does for their community. Thank You for all your Support.  After the boat show there is an awesome Sunset Dinner scheduled for us at The Pines Resort starting with a no-host cocktail party at 5:30 and dinner starts at 6:30. Come join us for a beautiful lake view Sunset while enjoying your dinner and a cocktail on the shores of Bass Lake. Great Times, Great Friends, Great Memories!!! Sadly we had to Cancel the Sunday morning Brunch & annual Chuck Kelley Poker Run.....Bummer! ! !
