Event Details:

Friday November 4-Saturday November 5:

The Highland Hunt

(A Modern Scavenger Hunt)

Use your phone or camera to take pictures of yourself with, or in front of, or in back of the item being hunted. You will be given a list of clues consisting of places, or descriptions and items to hunt for in the greater Grass Valley and Nevada City area. This will require some driving.

Teams are encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the highest number of correct photos taken.

Friday, November 4, 5pm – 10pm:

Annual Meeting:

5pm – 6pm: Business Meeting (please note the time)

6pm – 10pm: Dinner, Awards, Celtic Music & Festivities

Dress Code: Cocktail Attire

Choices for the Designer Dinner Buffet are:

Sherry Chicken (pan seared cutlets with sauteed mushrooms and creamy sherry pan sauce),

Prime Rib Carving Station (slow roasted C.A.B. beef, hand carved, accompanied with creamy horseradish sauce, Au Juice, creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal roasted vegetable medley, tuxedo cake & lemon bar wedges.

Saturday, November 5, 8am – 1pm

Cars & Coffee, Road Rally And Cal-Fire Plane/Helicopter Air Attack Tour:

Nevada County Road Rally to Grass Valley Airport, Tour of Cal-Fire Wildland Fire Fighter Planes & Helicopters. Chat with Cal-Fire about the county’s Incident Command, The Wild Land Urban Interface and Air Attack Fire Fighting.

Lunch choices are:

CHOICE OF 3 Artisan Sandwiches:

Turkey/Ham Sandwich (Distel Turkey breast and Neiman Ham with tomatoes, spinach and artichoke garlic aioli.

Roast Beef Sandwich with cheese, tomatoes, spinach and Fire Fighters Pepper aioli.

Roasted Portobello Mushroom Sandwich with Shallot and Balsamic, roasted zucchini, roasted onion, tomato and basil pesto cheese spread.

Side of fresh Mediterranean Orzo salad and chocolate chip chunk cookie.

Saturday,   November 5, 5pm – 9pm

Celtic Dinner & Highland Games

Dress Code: Scottish, Irish, Celtic theme. You know, PLAID.

Wear your favorite Kilt for the Ass-Kickin’ Kilt Contest.

Be brave at heart and battle ready for the exciting Highland Games including Winners of the Highland Hunt, Oh-So-Favorite Frog Hop, Golf Gala and more fun games than you’ve had in all the ages.

We have the restaurant to ourselves and are planning a wonderful ACBS evening.

Owners and 3-Star Michelin Chef Vincent & Lisa present their superb dinner offerings:
